Nationally Scarce B

A resident species, whose larvae occur sparingly in a few deciduous woods in both vice-counties. Single-brooded, flying mainly during May and June. Larvae feed on alder, silver birch, downy birch, apple, hazel and meadowsweet. (Pratt, 2011)
