Extinct

Just two colonies of this species have been claimed. The earliest notice was made in the Hastings district of Guestling, where the Reverend E. N. Bloomfield apparently found it a rarity during the years running up to 1878. The second county record was made at Fernhurst, this being noted in the Victoria County History of 1905. Just how accurate these two records are will now probably never be known – so there is no unquestionable evidence that huebneri has ever occurred here (Pratt, 2011)
