Nationally Scarce B

Resident and suspected immigrant. Occasionally common along the eastern coast but generally only seen in small numbers, particularly in the west and north where it is very local. Increasing. Flies mainly from late April to early July and again from mid-July to early September. Larvae feed on viper's-bugloss (Pratt, 2011).
