Local

The first good Sussex specimen seems to have been captured in the Lewes district in 1981. The first West Sussex specimens came to mv light at Kingsham between June and August 2001. The species has since been recorded from Rye, Bexhill, Winchelsea and Ambersham Common. Larvae feed on apple, though this has yet to be confirmed in Sussex. (Pratt, 2011).
