Local
A resident species that usually occurs singly in a few places in both vice-counties, although it is occasionally fairly common at mv light in parts of East Sussex. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from late June to late August. The larvae feed on the leaves of garden apple and crab apple. (Pratt, 2011).
