Phyllocnistis saligna (Zeller, 1839)

Resident. Larvae generally occur singly or sparingly in West Sussex, although they are sometimes very common at Pulborough; perhaps less frequent in the eastern vice-county. Double-brooded. Flying mainly during July and again from September to April, although this has yet to be confirmed in Sussex. Larvae feed on crack willow, osier and white willow. (Pratt, 2011).
