Phyllonorycter pomonella sensu auctt. nec (Zeller, 1846)
Resident. Larvae usually occur singly or sparingly in both vice-counties, although they are sometimes common at Woods Mill. Widespread.
Double-brooded, flying mainly during May and August, sometimes to the third week of September, although the month of April has recently been added.
Larvae feed on sloe, plum and cherry. (Pratt, 2011)
