A resident species in danger of extinction in both vice-counties. The moth usually occurs sparingly at mv light but is occasionally found more commonly amongst reed-beds, especially near St Leonards. Only found in two zones, in the Arundel district and in the far east. Sometimes double-brooded flying from late May to early July and again from late July to late August. Larvae feed on various sedges. (Pratt, 2011)
