An immigrant and suspected recent resident occurring singly in a wide range of habitats both by day and at mv light. Double or triple-brooded, appearing between the second week of April and early June, again from the second week of July to late August and most commonly from the second week of September to the third week of November. Larvae elsewhere feed on a wide range of herbs. (Pratt, 2011)
