A declining resident species sometimes fairly common at mv light and occasionally common flying around foodplant on the Downs and vegetated shingle beaches. Rare in the north of the county. Single-brooded flying mainly from mid June to early August. Larvae feed on traveller's joy (Pratt, 2011)
