Extinct

A resident species, generally occurring singly or sparingly in a range of habitats. Larvae are frequent at Amberley and adults at Crowborough. Probably under-recorded but judged to be currently in danger of extinction in the west. Very local and distinctly episodic in numbers and never detected in large sections of the centre and north-west. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early October to early November. Larvae feed on wild and probably ornamental junipers. (Pratt, 2011)
