Local

A resident that generally occurs singly or sparingly at mv light on the coast. It is sometimes common on vegetated shingle beaches and amongst sand-dunes and occasionally penetrates inland. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to late July, occasionally from the third week of May or to the same week in August. The larvae feed on the roots of unspecified grasses. (Pratt, 2011).
