Common

A well distributed resident, but local and episodic in large numbers. It is sometimes common to very common at mv light and when disturbed from grassy places during the day. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from the second week of June to early September, occasionally from early June or to late September. The larvae feed on unspecified grasses. (Pratt, 2011).
