Local

A resident species usually occurring singly or sparingly at mv light in deciduous woods, especially amongst beech. Distinctly episodic in appearance. This species is single-brooded flying mainly from mid June to late July, occasionally from the second week of June or to early August. Larvae have been associated with beech. (Pratt, 2011).
