Common

A resident species often occurring singly or sparingly in a wide range of habitats. Widespread but only thinly distributed in large areas. Single-brooded, flying mainly from the second week of June to late August, occasionally to late September. Larvae feed on unspecified crucifers, chiefly on winter-cress. (Pratt, 2011).
