Resident. Adults usually occur singly at mv light, although they are occasionally fairly common by day, while larvae are sometimes much more numerous.. Only ever authoritatively discovered on the downs near Lewes. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late June to early August. Larvae feed on marjoram. (Pratt, 2011).
