Local

A resident species that usually occurs singly at mv light, occasionally sparingly, in a very few places mostly situated within a few miles of the coast. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from late June to mid August. The species has long been associated with sow-thistle species in Sussex. (Pratt, 2011).
