Common
A widespread resident that occurs sparingly or fairly commonly at mv light in a wide range of habitats. It is double-brooded, flying mainly from late May to mid June and again more numerously from late June to late August, occasionally to early September. The larvae feed on creeping thistle. (Pratt, 2011).
