Common

A resident that normally occurs singly or sparingly to mv light. It is sometimes fairly commonly seen during the day and is both widespread and increasing. It is double brooded from late May to late June and then more numerously from late July to mid September. The larvae feed on the flowers and seed heads of knapweed. (Pratt, 2011).
