Local

A resident species, usually occurring singly by day and at mv light in a few of our foremost deciduous woodlands in both vice-counties. Sometimes fairly common around hedgerows near Petworth. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late April to mid-June. Larvae feed on the seeds of bluebells. (Pratt, 2011).
