Status and ecology:
National Status: Local
A resident species, decreasing and occurring singly at mv light in a few places in the East. Undetected in the West since 1905 apart from a single sighting at Walberton in 2002. Single-brooded, flying mainly from mid-May to late June. Larvae feed elsewhere on hawthorn twigs. (Pratt, 2011).
