Status and ecology:
National Status: Local
A scarce resident species occurring sparingly in a few woodland rides on acid soils in the north. Not recorded in the western vice-county. Single-brooded flying mainly during the last half of May. Larval foodplant unknown in this country. (Pratt, 2011)
